A LITTLE ABOUT ME

A few different sides.
All me.

Hello, I’m Divya Chembrolu.
Artist, interaction designer and design mentor.

I bring over a decade of interaction design experience to the spaces and experiences people move through. I love a behavioural science approach rooted in sensing and compassion. I’m also training in expressive arts therapy—another way of understanding how people connect, communicate and make meaning.

That’s the idea behind the six hands. Each holds a different way of making. Together, they tell a more complete story.

MY PRACTICE

Six ways of
paying attention.

01 / PEOPLE

Listen closely.

Voice research and interaction design start with the person on the other side of the interface.

02 / POSSIBILITIES

Make it tangible.

Prototypes, tools and identities give an idea a form we can try, question and improve.

03 / EXPRESSION

Leave room to feel.

Writing and movement offer different ways to explore a story—and different ways to tell it.

SOME CHAPTERS ALONG THE WAY
